Active system adapter Mercedes
Active system adapters maintain the function of an OEM amplified system.
This allows the connection of an aftermarket HU to an OEM amplified system while retaining the OEM amplifier and connected speakers by adapting, matching or converting the output signals of the signal source to the signal input of the OEM amplifier.
Depending on the vehicle and the installed OEM amplified system, various functions such as fader, sound or subwoofer settings might be lost.
In individual cases, depending on the OEM system and the retrofit radio, increased noise or a switch-on or switch-off noise may occur.
Check functionality before final assembly.

connector: OEM amplified system D2B > RCA(m) red/white
connector: loose wires
removing CD changer / TV tuner / telephone module / Sat Nav module and other components and closing the D2B ring:

yellow: +12V current power clamp 30
black: GND clamp 31
red: +12V switched ignition clamp 15
blue: Amp data output > D2B Wakeup connection
blue: no +12V input

CD changer +12V remote / clamp 15 8 Pin C1 connector > Pin 6
CD Changer GND / clamp 31 8 Pin C1 connector > Pin 5
check with OEM device before installation
vehicles with Audio 10 / Audio 30 OEM HU 10 Pin ISO connector CD changer:
CD changer +12V remote / clamp 15 10 Pin ISO connector > Pin 5
