All about the ATB120A - the flattest AXTON downfire subwoofer
No matter how you look at it - there is always a place for the ATB120A. With its practical dimensions, the flat 20 cm / 8” subwoofer chassis, reflex channel and integrated amplifier is guaranteed to fit in almost any car trunk: whether flat on the floor or hidden in the false floor, permanently mounted on the side panel or on the back of the rear seat - the extremely small space requirement is immediately appreciated.
Of course, in addition to the optimum mounting options, the sound characteristics are not neglected. As you would expect from AXTON, the ATB120A underscores the music with a rich and melodious bass, which can of course really kick in when required. The 100 W RMS amplifier module is well protected on the underside of the housing. All settings such as low-pass filter, phase, gain and bass boost can be easily adjusted. The high-level inputs with auto turn-on function are helpful for connecting to factory radios (without REM output). The bass level can be conveniently adjusted from the driver's seat using the bass level remote control.
The smart component selection and the precise reflex channel tuning are the basis for the level stability and dynamics of this active cabinet subwoofer and the high linear Xmax value of ± 4 mm. The bass reflex enclosure is made of sturdy MDF and covered with robust fleece. The woofer is mounted according to the downfire principle, i.e. with the speaker pointing downwards, so that optimum dispersion and even distribution of the bass waves is possible. The port is flow-optimized to minimize disruptive air turbulence.
The amplifier module of the ATB120A is compatible with the AXTON Easiest Bass Upgrade concept: For plug & play connection, simply combine the ATS-ISOATB accessory cable with one of the vehicle-specific ATS-ISOxx T wiring harnesses. The range includes custom-fit cables for over 400 vehicles from more than 30 vehicle brands.
