Many vehicle manufacturers do not provide sufficient sound deadening on sheet metal parts, mounting frames, panels and other components.
This reduces the sonic performance of aftermarket speakers due to resonance and vibration of those parts.
In addition, the rearward sound waves from the speakers are reflected, which compromises the overall sound.
Adequate sound deadening and damping optimises bass reproduction according to the speakers' quality, cleans up the midrange and improves the stereo staging.
Decoupling and contact damping of trim parts prevents the creation of unwanted noises.
The result is improved vehicle acoustics and a noticeable reduction of driving noise.

Paramat Road Stage+ combines a butyl layer with hydrophobic XL-PE foam.
This combination absorbs and dissipates vibration while the water-repellent foam layer reliably protects against moisture ingress.
Road Stage+ is therefore ideal for floor and roof areas that are exposed to moisture.
The aluminium foil additionally reinforces the vibration-damping effect.
The material stands out for its durability and consistently high performance.
